This picture I altered by filtering it as well as saturating and dodging it.

The picture above I used burn to darken the sky to bring out the clouds. I also saturated it and put more blue. I filtered everything but the dome.
For this picture I filtered the background using wave.
Below are the originals.

Ekta,
ReplyDeleteYour photo's are striking and very abstract too!
I think your edits make a unassuming photo into
art. Angela
Holy wow! This all feels really advanced to me, and Im really impressed. The top edit I want to frame in my living room :)
ReplyDeleteDitto Sams comment! The last photo of the flag really became something else with the edits. Fantstic job.
ReplyDeleteThe difference between the original water shot and the very abstract piece you created is awesome! I feel like it should be darkened a little, but I really like how crazy it looks - reminds me of spin art and is a very unique look! Kudos on keeping the dome un-selected and only applying filters to the sky. Next step, try adjusting the curves..? ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat work! I would love to frame the top photo as well. I is nice to see soem pictures that were altered in a way to mae them different and not so "perfect". Great example this week!
ReplyDeleteThis is such beautiful work. I meant to comment on this earlier but somehow got distracted. I like to see that you have been pushing the tools and have come up with more abstract work. It's interesting to see, that persons new to photography and especially Photoshop, tend to try to keep everything looking realistic. So, this is great to see you bringing these works into the abstract realm. After all, they are only pixels. This is not a pipe…
